JACKSON, Mo. (AP) – The Jackson Police Department says a suspect is in custody after drugs, a stolen handgun and $26,000 in cash were found inside a residence.
The Southeast Missourian reports the arrest comes after an investigation this month by Jackson police and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Law enforcement officials obtained a search warrant and found inside the home oxycodone pills, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of marijuana.
The department also says a .45-caliber handgun that had been reported stolen in Arkansas was found.
Charges are pending against the suspect.
