Suspects in Highland bank robbery in police custody

HIGHLAND, IL (KTVI) – The search for suspects in a Highland, Illinois bank robbery is over.  Police released pictures of the suspects on Sunday.  They say a suspect approached a woman at a Bradford National bank ATM, pulled a gun, and demanded money.

The first suspect was taken into custody Sunday night in Highland and a second custody was caught early this morning in Michigan.  Police and the FBI don’t believe there are any more suspects.

A releases from the police department states, “We would like to sincerely thank the public for their support and the leads that were generated and presented to our department in reference to this crime. The quick resolution to this violent crime was an example of true and complete “Community” policing at its finest.”
