ST. JOHN, MO (KTVI) – The St. Louis County SWAT team was called to a St. John home near the intersection of Brown Road and Midland after police received a supposed tip.
A man called to report that he’d stabbed someone and had a person tied up. Police responded, but did not find any victims. Authorities were on the scene for over two hours.
However, the man who made the phone call to police has stabbed someone in the past and has “issues,” according to police. That individual will face charges for filing a false police report when he’s located.
Meanwhile, Ferguson police responded to a situation in the 400 block of Warford involving a man barricaded in a home there.
St John police still looking for man who apparently called in hoax. He said he had stabbed someone and tied up another victim.
