ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A judge will decide whether a 16-year-old murder suspect will stand trial as an adult Thursday.

The teen, who’s name has not been released because he is a juvenile, is accused of shooting Chauncy Brown, 16, in September.  He and some friends got into a fight at a teen dance club in north St. Louis, but left when someone threatened to shoot them.

Brown was found dead on Keokuk the next day.  Less than a month later, James Moore, who had been with Brown at the club, was shot and killed while waiting for his school bus.

Brown’s mother thinks the dispute may go back to a middle school feud.
