ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A teenage boy shot and killed by St. Louis police last week is laid to rest Wednesday.
Officers say Jorevis Scruggs pointed a gun at an officer at the end of a pursuit. That officer fired several times on St. Louis Avenue, killing Scruggs. Other shots hit nearby homes and cars.
A funeral service for Scruggs takes place at noon at the William C. Harris Funeral Home on Halls Ferry.
