Update: Nelly “Mad As Hell” About Drugs Found on Tour Bus

Brian Keith Jones was arrested Wednesday evening after freely admitting that drugs on board Nelly’s tour bus and a gun all belonged to him.

SIERRA BLANCA, TX (KTVI) – St. Louis rapper Nelly told TMZ he didn’t know anything about drugs being on his tour bus and that he’s “mad as hell.”

One person was arrested after a search of Nelly’s tour bus in Texas turned up ten pounds of marijuana and 36 bags of heroin. They also found a loaded .45 gun.  While Nelly has not spoken to the media about the incident, he did tweet Thursday:

According to the Hudspeth County Sheriff’s Department, the bus was on Interstate 10 on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. when it was stopped at a U.S. Border Patrol Checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas. That’s when a police dog picked up on the scent of drugs.  Authorities reportedly found a box with ten pounds of marijuana and .64 ounces of heroin inside.

One of the passengers,  Brian Keith Jones, claimed the drugs and gun belonged to him.  Jones, known to be one of Nelly’s bodyguards, was arrested and taken to the Hudspeth County Jail.
