STAUNTON, IL (KTVI) – Hundreds of bicyclists took part in the "Tour de Donut" Saturday in Staunton Illinois. Multi-media journalist Wade Smith shows us the "race" is a spoof of the "Tour de France" with a tasty twist.

The 32-mile race route is over rolling terrain with two donut stops. Riders must stop, but they don't have to eat a doughnut. If they do, a five minute time credit is awarded for each donut consumed and recorded.
