(KTVI) – Part of a freight train derailed in Bourbon, Missouri Wednesday night. Two empty boxcars of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe train left the tracks just after 8 p.m. along Chestnut Street on Historic Route 66.
Nothing spilled, no one was injured, and the train was not blocking traffic. The Sullivan Independent news reported. Four home were being evacuated in the area as a precaution, but the residents refused to leave.
