10-year-old girl sends thousands of cards to police officers to say, ‘Thank You’

DALLAS, TX – She’s only ten years old, but a girl’s very personal and sincere way of saying thank you has now gone global.

Savannah Solis from Tyler, Texas was so moved by the murders of two New York police officers in December that she decided to thank as many officers as possible for their service.

Savannah received a heroes welcome at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport when she returned from her “Thank the Police Adventure” in London.

The Dallas Police Honor Guard saluted the ten year old. The fourth grader has written more than 1,000 thank you cards to officers from Texas to New York.
