DADEVILLE COUNTY, AL-- Some are calling them the fashion police.

A small town in Alabama passed an ordinance in august putting a ban on saggy pants. Now, another council member says miniskirts and short shorts should be added to that list.

This all transpired after Dadeville City Councilman Frank Goodman “prayed” and asked god what to do. “I know that God would not go around with pants down,” said the councilman.

According to the New York Daily News, other city council members showed support for the ordinance, which Goodman said was all about “respect.” Councilwoman Stephanie Kelley believes adding the shorts and skirts will promote gender equality.

Goodman thinks saggy pants are disrespectful and gives our younger generation the wrong impression of what is “cool.”
