A trucker posts a video on YouTube of a heated exchange with an Illinois state trooper. Brian Miner claims the trooper was speeding on the interstate while on a cellphone.

He recorded the state trooper saying, “Police officers can actually use technology when they’re driving.”

Miner replies, “Oh, so you guys are above the law?

Illinois State Trooper: “we’re exempt. Do you have a driver’s license and proof of insurance?”

Miner: “I sure do.”

Illinois State Trooper: “How fast were you driving back there?”

Miner: “Ah, you passed fast were you driving? Are you above the speed limit as well?

The mood of the conversation changed after the trooper found out he was being recorded. He even apologized for speeding, and did not write Miner a ticket.
