GOLDEN, CO – It was a happy reunion for a Tennessee family almost nine years in the making. They were reunited with their dog that had been missing all those years.
Boozer, the boxer, was just eight months old when he disappeared in 2006. Early last week, a man dropped him off at an animal shelter in Golden, Colorado, saying he could no longer take care of the boxer. The shelter checked for a micro-chip and found out his original owners had been looking for him since he went missing.
The Goldston family drove all the way from Tennessee to pick up Boozer and bring him back home.
There were plenty of tears from the Glodstons at the reunion Saturday. Boozer appeared very happy to be back with his family.
