FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – Tuesday is historic day in the City of Ferguson as voters went to the polls to elect four new council members to the city’s council. Currently only one member of the council is African-American. But after Tuesday’s election that number could jump to four.
The election comes barely eight months after the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown by Officer Darren Wilson.
