ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Five men have been arrested in connection with a rape and robbery according to St. Louis police.  Authorities say the men forced their way into a home and raped one of the female residents.

The original incident happened on Wednesday, November 21, in the 3000 block of Chippewa.  Authorities say the five men forced their way into an apartment where three women, ages 42, 31, and 18, were inside and held them at gunpoint.  The men took a television, laptop computer, printer, cash and three cell phones.  Authorities say the 18-year-old was raped during the incident. 

Two days later, officers arrested five men in a stolen car. Charges were filed Sunday against two of the suspects.  Leland Hughes, 21, faces numerous charges including 12 counts of Armed Criminal Action, Forcible Rape, Sodomy and Burglary. 

Shawn Borders 21, also faces Robbery, Armed Criminal Action, and Kidnapping charges.  Authorities have not filed charges against the other three suspects at this time.
