ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Two people were killed and two others critically injured following a t-bone crash in north St. Louis late Thursday.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Hall Street and Gimblin Road.

Police said a witness told them a Monte Carlo was traveling south on Hall Street when a Dodge Stratus traveling east on Gimblin ran a red light and smashed into it.

At the time of this writing, investigators do not suspect drag racing played a role in the crash.
