FESTUS, Mo. – Goodwill workers at the store in Festus have authorized a strike. Officials said after more than a year and a half of negotiations, workers rejected Goodwill’s latest contract proposal.

93 percent of the employees represented by United Food and Commercial Workers Local 655 voted against the deal. The union said the sticking points are unacceptable wage scale and benefits.
