ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KTVI) – Staffers at a north St. Louis County camp for low-income families are coping with vandals destroying what they are trying to build in the community.

Organizers at the Big League Leadership Camp for Kids took cellphone video of all of the damage when they arrived at Greater St. Mark Church on Thursday morning.

All of the bathrooms in the building were vandalized, spilling water on the floors and into the hallways.

Summer camp supplies like water and snacks were also taken.

Between 30 and 70 kids attend the camp. Organizers said they cater to low-income families who want to keep their kids safe during the summer. At this point, the camp will be moved next door to the church until repairs are made.

Last summer, approximately $15,000 worth of AC units were stolen from the roof of the camp building.

If you would be interested in donating money toward the cost of the repairs, the camps has set up a GoFundMe account. You can also contact Rev. Tommie Pierson at 314-707-5328 or Dr. Rohnika Jones at 314-327-8956.
