GLENDALE, MO (KTVI) - Glendale police are looking to ID some particularly vicious vandals.  The destruction they caused is not high priced or even high profile.  But the damage done is hitting the community hard.

It doesn't look like much right now, because its decorations are gone, and it's a little bit beaten up.  But most around here know that this is Grace Mehan's bus stop, a place usually almost as bright and cheerful as she is.

Riding the bus every day is a big deal to Grace.  She has Down's syndrome, but doesn't let that stop her from holding down a job and taking college courses.

Grace loves decorating her stop, and passers by’s on Lockwood know to look, Thanksgiving, Christmas, her mom's birthday, and most recently, Martin Luther King's birthday.  It was over the weekend that vandals struck twice, Friday and Saturday.

A police report was filed, and while there's been no movement in the case, Grace and her dad say they'll be back out to redecorate on Saturday.

You can keep track if you like on Grace's Glendale bus stop Facebook page.
