Designer fashion show kicks off Variety Week

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -The "Variety Runway Lights Fashion Show"  was held Saturday at Union Station. The New York style fashion show raised money for Variety The Children's Charity of St. Louis.    The show will featured fresh spring and summer outfits from designer ESCADA.

The fashion show kicked off Variety Week, a fund raising extravaganza that ends with a black-tie gala "Dinner with the Stars" on Saturday, April 25th. That will feature Toni Braxton and will be held at the Peabody Opera House.

FOX 2's Mandy Murphey emceed Saturday's event. FOX 2 and News 11 are proud sponsors of Variety, which provides educational, therapeutic and developmental programs for local children with physical and mental disabilities.
