ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A two-car accident early Wednesday morning sent one of the vehicles hurtling into the front doors of a church.
Just before 2:30 a.m., a car was rear-ended at a stoplight on Broadway. That same driver took off and eventually crashed through the wrought iron fence around the parking lot and into Trinity Missionary Baptist Church.
One of the drivers was injured. The driver who caused the accident was taken away in handcuffs. It’s unclear what caused him to crash into either the car or the church.
The building may have sustained structural damage.
