CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – A Chesterfield police officer was injured Wednesday when a vehicle lost control as it was traveling westbound on I-64 and hit the officer’s patrol car.
Sergeant Keith Rider said the incident happened at about 6:40 a.m.
The officer was working a traffic accident on westbound I-64 near Chesterfield Parkway when the vehicle hit his patrol car.
Rider said the officer and the driver of the vehicle were “slightly injured.” Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.
