(KTVI) – The Duck Dynasty star who was caught up in controversy two weeks ago for anti-gay remarks is in hot water again.
Video of Phil Robertson suggesting that men marry 15-year-old girls has surfaced.  The video from 2009 was posted to YouTube just a few days ago. In the video Phil shares what he calls “river rat counseling” for young men looking to marry.

He tells them to marry a woman who can “pick your ducks. Now that’s a woman.”   He goes on to say they the men shouldn’t wait until the women are 20, but to marry them, “when they are about 15 or 16. They’ll pick your ducks. You need to check with mom and dad about that, of course.”

In the state of Louisiana, Robertson’s home state, it is legal for girls as young a 16 to marry with parental consent.

In Missouri, teens can marry at age 15 with parental consent.  In Illinois, teens can marry at 16 with parental consent.
