WELLSTON, MO (KTVI) - First responders face many unexpected dangers.  A firefighter was hit by a high pressure stream of water while working on a Wellston home fire Monday morning.  The fire hose coming from an aerial truck was enough to knock the emergency responder off his feet. The firefighter appears to be OK.  He may have just had the wind knocked out of him.

The dramatic video was captured by FOX 2 crews on the scene of a 2 story home fire. They were able to get the fire under control in a short time.  Neighboring homes were saved through the firefighter's efforts.
