UNIVERSITY CITY, MO (KTVI) – Family, friends and classmates held a vigil for a man who was shot and killed Saturday in Heman Park.  Someone left a note to the shooter at Heman park.   A Reddit user snapped a picture of the sign and posted it to the St. Louis section of the website.

The sign reads, "To all of our youth: You are killing one another. You have put the KKK and some of the corrupt police out of business. You don't own any blocks, territory or hoods. Stop acting like animals and start to behave like the Gods that you are. Put down the guns and save yourselves. PEACE - RIP Mario."

It is not clear who left the message. But, the note is making the rounds on St. Louis social media.

Mario Wallace, 20, was shot around 7:15 p.m. in University City.  The University City High School alum was attending a reunion in the park.

A second victim, a 39-year-old man, was shot in the leg. Wallace later died from his injuries at the hospital. The shooting is under investigation.
