Violent night keeps local law enforcement busy

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis Police were busy overnight with four different shootings in the city.

The first of the shootings occurred Friday evening around 8:30 when a man arrived to a local hospital with gunshot wounds to his arm and neck.  The victim was hospitalized and listed in critical but stable condition.  The investigation is ongoing.

A few hours later after midnight, homicide detectives were called to 5500 block of West Florissant Avenue.  The body of a man fatally shot was found.

Not much more than an hour later, shots rang out in the 4700 block of Bircher Boulevard.  Police responded to find a man suffering from a right shoulder gunshot wound.  He is in stable condition at a local hospital.

Just after 4:00 AM this morning, police responded to a call of shots fired in the 5800 block of Etzel Avenue.  A man in his 20s was found shot in the buttock and leg.  He is in stable condition at a local hospital.
