ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged a 20-year-old clerk at a local Walmart vision center for allegedly texting illicit pictures of himself to customers.

According to prosecutors, the incidents occurred in July 2015.

Investigators said a woman went to the vision center at a south county Walmart in the 3200 block of Telegraph Road on July 30 to get her glasses repaired. She left her glasses with a clerk at the store, identified as Elvel Sivac, who took them to the back to fix them.

A short time later, the woman received a text message containing an image of a nude, fully aroused man. A second text arrived a few minutes later from the same number, with a message asking, “Did you like that?”

The woman used a search function on her phone to figure out who sent the texts and determined they came from the clerk at the store. The woman called police, who then spoke with the clerk.

Prosecutors said Sivac not only admitted to sending the pic in this instance, but also confessed to similar activity involving vision center customers.

Sivac was charged with six counts of second-degree sexual misconduct.
