Wash U Steps Up Patrol

ST.LOUIS,MO (KTVI) – Washington University is pumping  $200,000 into additional police patrols near the medical center.

That will help fund more than 4,000 hours of additional police patrols a year in the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood.

The Washington University’s Medical Centers past crime prevention projects have resulted in a reduction of crime in the area by more than 50% between 2000 and 2010.
