Watermelon truck crash in west St. Louis County sends two to the hospital

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A truck carrying watermelon was involved in a crash near the intersection of Manchester and Barrett Station Road at around 3:00pm Friday. The driver was pinned under a vehicle during the crash.

The driver and one other person have been taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries and conditions are not known at this time.

Traffic is being disrupted as workers try to clear the scene.
