(KTVI)- Severe weather warning sirens sounded in St. Louis County Tuesday afternoon accidentally.  St. Louis County Police initially reported that the sirens went off due to a computer glitch, but the County Office of Emergency Management later revealed via Twitter that the sirens were accidentally manually activated during routine maintenance.

There was no severe weather in the area Tuesday nor was there any other county-wide emergency situation.
