The weather disco:
Not much change in the overall pattern for the weekend…Little change in the overall…Large scale set up…We are caught in-between the two main flows of this summer…The big, hot dome of high pressure…Now expanding over the southern u.S. And that northwest flow…We are a little closer to the northwest flow and that will allow several fronts to work in from the north and then get stuck over the bi-state region…Each time a front works in and waves around we will see scattered showers and storms…A few may be strong…Severe weather will be limited. The problem…Typical of the northwest flow it is very tough to time this stuff out…The action has to get going about 300 miles to our north and northwest…Once that happens timing is easy…But impossible to time exactly when and where this northern action forms…Good times..So we have to watch the skies and be ready to react…But there will also be a fari share of dry time too…We never trust the northwest flow.
