Cooler temperatures for Friday and over the weekend…some rain showers around Saturday night and Sunday
The blow torch from the south is really at work and will be at work all day Wednesday and into Wednesday night. Very, very dry winds but the moisture from the Gulf will start to come into play Wednesday night and Thursday thanks to a cold front picking it up. More and more clouds Wednesday during the day but it’s all about wind with gusts up to 40 m.p.h. and very mild to warm temperatures for early March. A low pressure and its cold front…kicking up rain and storms…Wednesday night and Thursday. The main low will be passing well to our north…dragging a cold front over the region…on Thursday…at the same time a large cut-off low pressure will be hanging over the southwest…with the cold front…i could see a few thunderstorms…but widespread strong to severe will be limited…however we may be looking at some rather heavy rain…we could use a solid soaking rain. Look for colder weather on Thursday with dropping temperatures in the afternoon…quiet Friday and Saturday…that southwest low will try to lift out late in the weekend…but big questions on timing right now…let’s think late Saturday night and Sunday in the form of rain showers…not focused on thunderstorms at this stage of the game
