WEBSTER GROVES, MO (KTVI) – After a failed tax hike proposal, the Webster Groves school district has cut 11 teachers from the districts staff. Our partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch are reporting that the teachers were notified Wednesday that their contracts would not be renewed for the 2015-2016 school year.

The district now has to make $1.64 million in cuts.

Additional staffing cuts may be sought through attrition.
