RICHMOND, VA (KTVI) - A landlord in Richmond, Virginia is being sued for $1.3 million for allegedly planting a hidden camera in the bedroom of a tenant.
According to WTVR, the tenant moved into a fully-furnished home subleased from Tomas Arnaiz back in 2012. A clock radio was included in the home.
The tenant claims he and his girlfriend were being secretly recorded in the bedroom and while using the restroom.
They say the images were then downloaded to the landlord’s computer.
The couple found out they were being watched when they noticed that the clock radio had been repositioned and plugged in after they unplugged it.
