ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The Wildwood Mayor is questioning if a piece of land is a safe site, after the EPA gave it the all clear.

The agency sent a letter this week to some residents of Wildwood and ELlisville clearing part of the Ellisville superfund site for unlimited use and unrestricted exposure.

However, the Wildwood Mayor is worried there are some loose ends and isn’t ready to call the site, “good.” He’s also inviting the EPA to town to address concerns before making a decision on delisting. He says that there’s just too much at stake not to get it right.
