MONONA, WI (KTVI) – Bullying is a big problem in and out of the classroom. That’s why one Wisconsin community is taking a bold approach to stop it. Moms and dads are being told, “If you can’t help stop the problem, you’ll have to pay.”

The city of Monona near Milwaukee passed the new law. Parents can be fined $114 for their child’s aggressive behavior. The rule only applies to parents who are considered “uncooperative.” Parents who make a good-faith effort to address the problem won’t receive a ticket.
