Two shot in north St. Louis, children inside car unhurt

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)--Two people are wounded after shots were fired in north St. Louis Thursday night. This happened around 8:20pm in the 2800 block of Vandeventer. A police officer patrolling the area heard the gunshots.

Police say a woman and a man were standing by their car when they were shot. Their four children were inside the car at the time of the shooting. They were all uninjured. The woman was shot in the face. The man was shot in the shoulder. They are both in the hospital listed in critical but stable condition.

The investigation is still on-going.
