REEDS SPRING, Mo. (AP) _ Authorities in southwest Missouri are investigating after a woman’s body was found in the remains of a brush fire.
The Southern Stone County Fire Protection District responded to the fire call west of Reeds Spring. Crews found the body of a woman near a home in the area of the fire.
KYTV reported Saturday (http://j.mp/1SE6HpA ) that the woman has not been identified, and investigators have not yet determined how she died.
