Woman found shot to death in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a murder that took place Monday morning.

According to Evita Caldwell, a police spokeswoman, the body of a woman was discovered just before 10 a.m. in a yard in the 5000 block of Enright Avenue, located in the Academy neighborhood.

Caldwell said the woman had been shot.
