LOS ANGELES, CA (KTLA) - A woman jumps on to  a moving car through the window during a Los Angeles police chase.

The incident started after 10am on Monday when a suspect attempted to rob a credit union  in West Covina, CA.  The suspect fled in a white minivan and police caught up to him on the freeway.  He then exited highway 10 at Whittier Boulevard and tried to evade police on side streets.

At that point a woman approached the van on a cellphone.  She then jumped  onto the white van and started clinging to the passenger door.

She kept holding onto the van as it whipped through side streets running from police.  After struggling on the side and top of the van she climbed through an open window into the vehicle.

The van was eventually stopped by police.  The woman was taken into custody without incident.  The man was removed from the car by police dogs and then arrested.
