WENTZVILLE, MO (KTVI)-A woman is dead after a head on collision in Wentzville Saturday night. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Lauren Hollingsworth-Smith, 29, of Wentzville, was driving west on Highway N, near Perry Cate Boulevard, when she crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head on. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver, Randal L. Phillips, 38, of Lake St. Louis, was taken by ambulance to the hospital. He suffered minor injuries. There were no other passengers.
Neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
The crash is under investigation.
