BELTON, Mo. – Authorities say a woman has been killed while helping to trim trees at a mobile home park south of Kansas City.

The Kansas City Star reports that investigators believe the woman was working with a wood chipper Monday afternoon in Belton when she was injured by either the machinery or a work truck. The exact cause is under investigation.

The woman was rushed to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries. Her name wasn’t immediately release.
