ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A woman who was possibly looking at life in prison for killing her husband will spend 90 days in jail and get five years probation.
Mary Mullenix of West County pleaded guilty to 2nd degree involuntary manslaughter for stabbing her husband to death, Ike Mullenix, in July of last year. She also must complete an alcohol treatment program. Prosecutors reduced the charge from 2nd degree murder because Ike Mullenix had a history of domestic abuse against her.
