ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Blueberry Hill, the rock and roll restaurant and bar is celebrating its 40th anniversary and that's Edwards cue to cut back some of his collection.

"The first and probably the only time I'll ever do it," says Blueberry Hill Owner Joe Edwards  "These are things that don't fit in the display cases like some extra Pez dispensers, Pee Wee Herman and the Simpsons and Howdy Doody items. Some of them are rare some are just fun. Plus it'll free up some space so I can collect more pop culture items to put in future display cases."

You can take a walk down memory lane Sunday from 11am to 3pm when Joe's gigantic collection goes on sale.

" I just follow my instincts on what to collect," says Edwards. "It could be a certain personality like there's some beautiful porcelian Beatles dolls here. There's other dolls I just didn't collect. Pee Wee's Playhouse. I have the whole playhouse with Chairy and Jomby and people say, "Oh I remember that show.''

"People come in all the time," says Edwards. 'That's why it's one of the great places for a first date. Even if it's a little awkward meeting the person for the first time it's, 'Oh I had that lunch box in second grade, in fact I remember Ms. So -And-So's class.` And it brings back a flood of memories and eases the awkwardness."

"You've helped me with many an awkward first date," says Clark.

Ah, awkward first dates.
