UNIVERSITY CITY, MO (KTVI) – You Paid For It investigates a bridge project in University City that’s stretched on longer than residents were led to believe.

The project was supposed to last just three months, but 10 months later it’s still not finished. U City ran into problems with the contractor early on, but opted not to make a change.

Meanwhile, residents call the Ferguson Bridge Project a nightmare.

Normally, up to 4,000 cars a day travel the road. Motorists aren’t the only ones running into trouble from this, police and emergency vehicles are also having problems.

You Paid For It questioned the University City Public Works Director about this deal.
