UNIVERSITY CITY, MO (KTVI) - The You Paid For It team confronts the Mayor of  University City over using tax dollars for its campaign to pass two bond issues.

University City will spend up to $25,000 to send out 72,000 pieces of literature to its residents.

Those opposing the Bond issues are crying foul over officials using your tax dollar for their campaign.

State law bars officials from using tax dollars to promote issues. U City Officials say they're just providing information.

Investigator Elliott Davis caught up with the Mayor who made a spirited defense of this deal with your dollars.
