ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Over 1,000 St. Louis Community College workers were forced to attend a one day event that cost taxpayers about $42,500. “Chancellor’s Day” is a mandatory day long Saturday session held on the Forest Park Community College campus.  It included speeches from the Chancellor and others. The You Paid For It Team obtained a copy of an official survey of that event.

School higher ups sent out questionnaires asking those there if they thought the event was useful in helping them do their jobs. The answer came back a resounding no from many of those there. In fact, when workers were asked what can be done in the future to improve the event. Many answered, eliminate it.

You Paid For It Investigator Elliott Davis interviews the Chancellor Myrtle. She repeatedly says the day was designed to improve student success. Although, she never makes it clear how exactly the day did that.
