LOS ANGELES, CA (KTVI)– The season finale of American Idol is finally here. The sing-off begins Wednesday night.
FOX 2’s Rebecca Roberts spoke with the top two, Kree Harrison and Candice Glover. Both admit they’re nervous about performing in the upcoming show. Still, they’ve seen each other grow as artists throughout the past few months, and can’t wait for their final performances on the idol stage.
“I think throughout the show, as artists, we want to stamp our originality, and I think these songs do that for us personally,” said Kree Harrison.
“I think mine is definitely gonna, I think, surprise a lot of people. It’s definitely different from what I’ve been doing all season, but it’s just another side of me I wanted to show,” stated Candice Glover.
This week, they’re enduring long days as they prepare for the next two nights and say prayers and pep talks have helped them get through.
