It’s a clean sweep for girls high school soccer championships in Illinois. On Saturday, three local schools in southern Illinois won state titles. It started in Class 1, when Althoff shut out Timothy Christian 7-0 to win the title. Then it was Triad’s turn to win the Class 2 championship, 1-0 over Joliet Catholic. Finally O’Fallon completed the soccer sweep with a 1-0 win over Lyons to claim the Class 3 title. Congrats to all of these championship teams in girls soccer!
