Aaron Cook announces transfer to Georgia basketball program

ST. LOUIS–A former St. Louis area basketball standout who was a key backup in Gonzaga’s road to the NCAA men’s basketball national championship game last season will finish his career in the SEC.

Aaron Cook, the former Westminster Christian Academy guard who transferred to Gonzaga from Southern Illinois before last season, announced on social media that he’s heading to Georgia this fall.

Cook is using the “extra” year granted to student-athletes last season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
