(KTVI)- One day after returning from a final recruiting visit, Nolan Berry’s family confirmed that the De Smet Jesuit graduate will continue his college career at the University of California-Davis.
Berry returned from a visit with his mother to the campus Wednesday night and informed the coaching staff of his decision Thursday. Meg Berry told FOX2 that her son was attracted to the West Coast style of play. UC-Davis Head Coach Jim Les has been following Berry’s game since Les was the head coach at Bradley.
Berry heard from St. Louis University, Florida Gulf Coast University and Loyola-Chicago among others once he decided to transfer from Butler University. Under NCAA rules, he’ll sit out next season and have three years of eligibility remaining.
